Why Would I Compress a Link?
We come across incredibly long web site URLs—also known as links, favorites, shortcuts, whatever—all too often. Shortening URLs with gzURL allows you to:
- Make long links to things like maps and product pages easier to paste or type into email
- Make links easier to remember and pass on during discussions or podcasts
- Hide your email address on web pages (by shortening links like: mailto:user@mysite.com)
- Hide affiliate URLs from your site's visitors
- And much, much more...
